[Secret Key] Mu Coating Silk protein Shampoo

6 abr 2018

Friyay!
So, in here it's autumn. Or...it's supposed to be. Seriously, we have a very weird weather in here, that we can't say if this it's properly autumn lol.

Well, focus...today's review it's about a shampoo. Not an average shampoo, but a really good one. It has my hair soft, shiny and smelling great, but also untangled and almost, no...really with no frizz at all.
Could it be "THE" shampoo? Let's see.

Btw, this is the new look of this very loved hair mask.

For me, who am used to any drugstore shampoo, this marks a before and after. Because of course, with other drugstore or supermarket shampoos I have 700 ml of product that wash decently and at least the ones I chose have a decent pH so that the scalp does not suffer, but there's no more benefit.

I don't want to sound like an evangelist or even sing like Enrique Iglesias, but using this shampoo is almost a religious experience. And I will explain to you why.

I remember that when Heidi, the owner of a local Store called BeautyStore sent this products to me, I had finished using Ryoe's hair mask, very disappointed by that result and with nostalgia for the Mu Key mask from Secret Key. Then she not only sent me the shampoo but also a new package of the hair mask that I mention (and that I love). Why? Because both products are from the MU-Coating line and are when used together, the benefits are enhanced.

In fact, if you look at the packaging, the shampoo has a number 1 marked on it, and the mask a 2.
If you already tried the mask alone and you liked it, you'll be even happier with the shampoo.

Mu-coating shampoo is a balancing, deep-cleansing shampoo that doesn't contain silicones, but also that promises to take care of the scalp while reinforcing weak or brittle hair.

And all that, with a persistent fragrance.

Ingredients: giving a quick glance at the ingredients, there are some surfactants, but after that come the conditioning agents: hydrolyzed keratin, hydrolyzed collagen, silk amino acids, black oat extract, Camellia oil, Jojoba oil, currant oil, coconut oil , argan oil, sweet almond oil, other herbal extracts. But there is also BHA in the form of salicylic acid, which in hair products has exfoliating and anti-dandruff action. I didn't knew about black oat, and that's why I looked to see what I could find on it, and found that it has water retaining properties thanks to its amino acids, it's also rich in fatty acids and the other ingredients have moisturizing and emollient properties for the scalp and the hair.

My experience: at first I thought it was a shampoo only for dry hair or with dryness problem, since I realized that despite leaving the hair very clean, it leaves it very soft and hydrated, the scalp without itching. But then when my daughter started using it, which has a very oily scalp and with dandruff problems, I noticed that this shampoo gives more than what it promises.

As I told you, the shampoo cleans the hair very well but without leaving it stiff, rough or tight as often happens with the so-called "deep cleansing" shampoos that are alkaline attacks for poor hair and scalp 😆. Even I, having a lot of hair, just need to use 5-6 pumping doses to be able to clean my hair very well in a single pass, because curiously, it makes a lot of foam. A lot, dense and very fragrant foam that with its pH of 5.5 cleans up being gentle.

It rinses easily leaving the hair already soft. If you don't have problems with dyed, damaged hair, I think you could even venture to use it without conditioner. Me, with my hair permanently dyed, use conditioner or mask after rinsing to prevent further hair breakage.

In my daughter the experience is even better. Despite being a moisturizing shampoo, it cleans very well her scalp - which is very prone to dandruff - leaving it perfumed and very manageable, since when it remains moist despite the hairdryer, it is more difficult to make frizz. In fact, the experience with this shampoo has been so positive for her, that she is using it more than I would like 😐. How do I know? Because when you shower, the perfume (which is very delicious) comes out everywhere, and I'm like *suspicious* "Hey, are you using my shampoo?..." and she's like "eh..." lol.
But in any case I can't complain about that, because she with her oily scalp tends to suffer the same problem as other people with oily scalp: smelly scalp. So between effective cleansing and perfume, it no longer has that bad smell of greasy, oiliness on her head.

Perfume is a very important subject for me: since I really like to have my hair always smelling good, and it's disappointing when you find a shampoo or conditioner that smells nice, but the smell doesn't last in your hair. Here the smell is always there, and you notice it more if you move your hair. Fragrance of continuous release, I could call it.

tl;dr:  it's a product that I love, that I recommend using if you have a complicated hair or scalp, or if you are tired of feeling your hair dry and like dry grass. If you combine it with the Mu coating LPP treatment mask, the silk effect for the hair is better. You stay with your hair clean, soft and manageable, untangled, without frizz and with a lot of shine. And the perfume, every time you move it.💇
